Acne Treatmet- How Acne Scars Form?

by CDMohatta

Acne Treatmet- How Acne Scars Form?
Acne leaves scars like any other injury to the skin. Severe cystic and nodular acne always leaves a scar while in some people mild inflamed acne also leaves scars. The scarring depends upon the individual's response to an injury. As we age, these scars become more visible because of loss of collagen in the skin. Scars look ugly and need to be prevented and treated. Let us find out more about acne scars.
When acne resolves, a dark spot forms on the skin. Most often it is PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyper-pigmentation). This dark color of skin is the result of natural body repair. PIH fades away in about a year. If PIH does not resolve during that period, you may have an acne scar that will need treatment.
Raised acne scars-
Acne scars can be either depressed or raised. Raised acne scars are formed in those people who develop keloids. Keloid is a growth of tissues at the site of injury. It is not easy to remove keloids by surgery. That may result into more new keloids. Keloids are treated differently.
Depressed acne scars-
Luckily the majority gets depressed acne scars. The depressed acne scars form as a result of loss of tissue at the acne site. The tissue is lost when the acne spreads inside the skin. Some collagen is lost in this process. After acne heals, the depression remains and new skin grows over the depression. That is a depressed acne scar.
These depressed acne scars may be classified into - ice pick, boxcar or rolling scars. Such acne scars do not fade away with time. Depressed acne scars are removed with surgical and physical procedures such as dermabrasion, chemical peeling, microdermabrasion, surgery, soft tissue filling, laser, etc. Some topical formulations are also available that reduce the intensity of acne scar and lighten it.

How to Get Rid of your Body Acne

by Ryan Pham

Acne has no boundaries. Although, the face is the most affected area, the acne can occur in any part of the body. The back, chest, neck, buttocks and shoulders are not uncommon sites for acne. That's why sometimes they are called as 'bacne' i.e. acne occurred on the back!
Just like acne on the face, body acne is also troublesome condition. This gives bad look and may prevent you wearing low-cut and backless shirts and tank tops. This turns embarrassing when you are wiling to put-on the swim suit!
Acne is caused by the sebaceous gland secretion. These glands lie just under the skin. The secretion is known as sebum and is secreted to keep skin moist enough. Sebum is good until it is secreted in normal quantity and doesn't get block to the passages that open up on the outer skin. Once, the pathway choke-up with one or the other reason, the sebum starts getting collected under the skin. Top of that, this place invites bacteria to make their seat. This entire procedure results into the inflammation and elevation of the skin as a spot popularly known as acne.
Body acne can appear in the form of blackheads, white heads, pustules, cysts or pimples. The first and foremost tip to get rid of body acne is stopping wearing tight cloths. This is because the acne has tendency to ooze some secretion which could be encouraged by wearing tight cloths. Friction from these clothing will irritate body acne.
One should wash the acne-affected area with anti-bacterial soap. Keep in mind that soap with harmful chemicals will worsen the case. Hence, it is advisable to go for herbal soap having disinfecting property. Some chemicals are proven for anti-acne treatment like you can go for 5% - 10% benzoyl peroxide cream to dry out the pimples. You can also try to accutane therapy, which works with great deal. Another precaution is to be taken that you should never squeeze the acne as that may spread to other areas of the body. If you want to take out the material which is inside the pimple, take a cotton piece and gently press on it draining material in the cotton and making sure that it is not getting spread anywhere else.
Regarding the diet, one can go for roughage with no limits. Drink plenty of water to flush out the bodily waste through the urination and sweating. Non-vegetarian diet, alcohol, smoking and stress do contribute producing the body acne. Herbal science believe that eating the strong smelled vegetables like garlic, ginger, onions etc. give rise to sweat production and hence there may be chances of getting body acne.
Many of the doctors from different branches of the medical sciences like Ayurveda, Naturopathy and Homoeopathy believe that body acne could be developed by constipation. To get rid of the body acne, one should never remain constipated. Take enough fiber in the diet by means of green leafy vegetables etc. You can also go for some mild laxative (preferably herbal) once in a week on regular basis. This will tone up your intestines and will prevent constipation therefore.

Acne Skin Solutions Offering Hope

by Sarah Rhodes

Vaginal candidiasis is not considered a sexually transmitted disease. However, 12% to 15% of men will develop symptoms such as itching and penile rash following sexual contact with an infected partner.
Avoid keeping your vagina wet for a long peroid of time and do not douche vagina with vinegar after menstrual periods or sexual intercourse as it may remove the healthy bacteria in the vagina.
Twenty symptoms of Candidiasis are: 1. Headaches 2. Cystitis (infected bladder) 3. Mood swings 4. Vaginitis (inflammation of vagina or thrush) 5. Fungal infections (e.g. athletes foot) 6. Bad breath 7. Extensive food allergies 8. Anal itching 9. Feeling ill after eating yeast or sugary foods 10. Nasal itch or congestion 11. Craving for sugary things 12. Abdominal distension or bloating 13. Diarrhoea, constipation or both 14. Depression 15. Fatigue 16. Poor memory 17. Lack of sexual desire 18. Craving for bread or alcohol 19. Menstrual cramp or pain 20. Muscle aches.
Once in the blood, Candida can cause symptoms such as migraine headaches, irritable bowel, Crohns disease, eczema, hyperactivity, weight gain, chemical and inhalant allergies and rheumatoid arthritis. Candida short-circuits the bodys defenses at its deepest levels. Thats why attempts to rid the body of any of candidas symptoms without addressing the candida itself, usually prove futile, and why doctors have a relatively poor track record treating many of these conditions.
You can buy yeast infection treatments over the counter (OTC) in drugstores without a prescription from the doctor. Some examples of common treatments are: Miconazole, Tioconazole, Butoconazole and Clotrimazole. Unfortunately, these treatments only treat the symptoms and should not be considered cures. These treatments can also be dangerous to use and most women develop a tolerance to them after extended use. The only way to cure yeast infections is to treat the root cause through natural means.
Candida treatments are most common among women, but millions of men every year seek candida treatments for their conditions. Candida is often the root cause of a host of health problems that cause many number of misdiagnosed men and women to seek diabetes treatments, depression treatments, anxiety treatments, even cellulite treatments. However, these are often only symptoms of a much larger, underlying issue. Yeast is literally a beast that slowly destroys the body masquerading as various diseases. About 80% of the American population has a yeast problem that they are unaware of. A candida treatment could save a lot of unnecessary treatments by simply cutting out the middleman and going directly to the source of the problem yeast infection.
An untreated yeast infection will allow for the symptomatic pains of this infection to continue and possibly worsen in their severity. However, it is important to note that many untreated yeast infections progress normally and the body wonderfully clears up the condition on its own. This is generally accomplished during the menstrual cycle. When menstruating the flow of blood raises the pH level within the vagina. This action minimizes the activity of the yeast cells because of their inability to grow in that pH environment.

Acne Treatment - Latest Topical Treatments

by CD Mohatta

Topical treatment means application of medication on the skin. You may use anything such as cream, gel, liquid, powder, etc. The following medications are used for topical treatment of acne.
Benzoyl Peroxide:It is one of the most popular medicines that have been used since long to treat acne.
Benzoyl peroxide-Unclogs the closed poresReduces the infection causing bacteria P.acnes andReduces inflammation.
Benzoyl peroxide is available in the form of cream, gel, liquid etc.Benzoyl peroxide may cause excessive dryness. Benzoyl peroxide should not be used with tretinoin because it reduces effect of tretinoin.
Salicylic Acid:Salicylic Acid is an effective medication to treat whiteheads and blackheads. Salicylic acid is effective in correcting the abnormal shedding of skin cells. These skin cells block the pore openings and cause acne. Salicylic acid also removes the dead skin cells.
By opening the pores Salicylic Acid helps the sebum come out on the skin. Salicylic Acid does not kill the bacteria P. acnes. Excess use of Salicylic Acid can irritate the skin.
Azelaic Acid:Azelaic acid treats acne by
Killing the bacteria P.acnes and Reduces the abnormal shedding of dead skin cells.
Thus Azelaic Acid reduces infection and opens the clogged pores. Azelaic acid is commonly used to treat mild and moderate acne. As this acid is also skin bleach, it can sometimes lighten the skin. It can also cause dryness.
Topical Antibiotics:Antibiotics kill the bacteria. In case of infected acne, the antibiotics used are- clindamycin, erythromycin, sodium sulfacetamide and others. The strength of topical antibiotic used depends upon the inflammation.
Most of the topical antibiotics don't have any side effects except dryness or irritation. By using antibiotics, you can stop the progress of pimples to cysts and nodules. Antibiotics are commonly used with another topical that helps treat acne by reducing sebum and/or reduces the excess shedding of skin cells.
Topical Retinoids:Retinoids are vitamin A derivatives and are very effective in treatment of mild to moderate acne. Retinoids that are formulated for topical application are- adapalene, tazarotene and tretinoin.
Topical retinoidsClear the clogged pores andHave anti-inflammatory properties.
Another advantage of using topical retinoids is that they help remove fine lines and wrinkles. Topical retinoids may produce skin irritation. They should be strictly used under medical supervision as some of them such as tazarotene have shown birth defects in animal trials.
Nicotinamide:Nicotinamide is part of Vitamin B complex. It has anti-inflammatory properties and treats acne without any side effects of antibiotics. Nicotinamide is also called Niacinamide. Sulfur and Resorcinol:The combination of Sulfur and resorcinol unclogs the blocked pores and reduces excess oil. It is effective in treating whiteheads and blackheads. It is not popular because of smell of sulfur.
Alcohol And Acetone:Alcohol is an antimicrobial agent and acetone is a solvent that cleanses dirt and oil. This combination is used to treat mild form of acne.

Acne Treatment: Each Type Of Acne Needs Different Treatment!

by Joey River

Each of us wishes to have a smooth and clear skin. Pimples and Acne destroy this dream of smooth and clear skin. However, we start searching of remedies once we think things have gone out of hand.
Acne formation can take place on any part of the body, but the most affected parts are chest, back and unfortunately face. You should start treating acne consciously instead of starting use of over the counter products, of whose chemical composition you have no knowledge about. This is reason you should gain all those things you require to know about acne before you start treating it.
Acne should be treated as a health problem and not merely a skin problem. Acne appears in teenagers and adults as well. There are different types of acne and so there are equally different types of acne treatments.
Each one of us has a different condition; some people might have mild and moderate acne. Mild acne can also be referred to as non-inflammatory acne. This type of acne includes formation of white heads and black heads on skin, mild acne can be easily treated and removed from your daily life. For acne treatment of mild acne, all you require doing is washing your face with warm water and soap at least twice a day. Using exfoliating soap would be the best. Acne treatment for you would be using cleansers to cleanse your skin so that the pores do not get blocked and skin can breathe easy.
Moderate acne is the one which covers half of your face. Acne treatment for moderate acne can be done at home; however, it is also advisable that you take suggestions of the dermatologist so that he can stop the moderate acne changing to severe acne. Acne treatment can be a combination of treatments for moderate acne. At this stage you can prevent acne becoming severe inflammatory acne.
The doctor might advice you acne treatment in two ways, by making sure that your skin is clean and there are no blocked pores. This acne treatment involves extraction of the blockages and such therapies which will dry out or remove the oils that block the pores.
Acne treatment also might include taking some prescription drugs so that the chances of the acne recurring or becoming a severe type of acne diminish.
Severe acne or inflammatory acne means pimples are larger in size and are filled with pus. These can leave scars and are also painful in some cases. Severe acne can leave permanent scars on the skin. Therefore, it is better that you do not allow your acne to reach this level.
Acne treatment for severe acne is long and complicated. Here the dermatologist does not have to only clean you face, you also requires mending it. He might also need you to go through surgery if you want to get rid of acne scars. Initially, acne treatment for severe acne might comprise of taking some oral medicines and cleansing of skin, surgery might come in quite later when acne has been stopped totally and all that is required to be done is mending the skin.
So you can now classify acne if you have any, so that you can take action against it as soon as possible.

Home and Over-the-Counter Acne Treatments

by S.A. Wilson

Acne is the most common skin disorder known today. In United States alone, nearly 60 million people are infected with acne, where 85 per cent of teenagers suffer from it.
Skin experts and practitioners recommend several natural acne treatments. Here are some that we have compiled just for you.
*Wash your face twice a day (thrice at most) with gentle and unperfumed cleanser. Avoid using soaps as they contain harsh chemicals and ingredients that can damage your skin.
*Avoid touching your face. Stop putting your hands by your face! I am often guilty of this resting my hand on the side of my head while reading. Also rubbing or bracing your chin is another common problem when thinking. Avoid rubbing, touching, or itching your skin with your hands. Your hands contain a lot of bacteria that can cause acne flare-ups. It is probably one of the most difficult things to avoid since much of the hand to face contact throughout the day we are unconscious of. Make it a habit to avoid hand contact and be conscious of it during the day to avoid bacteria.
*Avoid the temptation to pick, prick and squeeze your acne. This will send the infection deeper into the skin and can cause severe scarring.
*For mild to moderate acne, you can use over- the- counter topical ointments, solutions, lotions or gels that contain benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or azelaic acid as an alternative to benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide is best at killing P. acnes and may reduce oil production. Resorcinol, salicylic acid, and sulfur help break down blackheads and whiteheads. Salicylic acid also helps cut down the shedding of cells lining the follicles of the oil glands.
*Topical antibiotic solutions and lotions can also be applied.
*Tea tree oil is a natural antibiotic and antibacterial agent and has a drying effect on the skin. It keeps the P. Acnes bacteria at bay along with decreasing facial oiliness, which makes this oil a worthwhile investment.
*Sulfur helps to heal existing blemishes by unblocking pores.
*Alpha or Beta Hydroxy Acids (AHA or BHA) works by keeping the skin exfoliated. Glycolic acid, the most well-known of the bunch is a useful adjuvant therapy for mild acne. Mandelic acid, a lesser known one, but one that combines the keratolytic properties of glycolic acid with natural antibacterial properties that help reduce the presence of P. acnes, may be considered a more effective alpha hydroxy acid in treating acne lesions. It is also much less irritating than glycolic acid, a factor that may be very important to those with sensitive skin who are unable to use other agents such as Retin-A, benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, or salicylic acid. It is effective in treating mild cases of acne on its own, and can be used successfully with other therapies on moderate acne. These treatments are usually effective for mild to moderate acne problems only. The effectiveness usually takes several weeks or approximately three to six months to be noticed. For more severe and serious acne conditions, do not hesitate to consult your dermatologist.

Acne Care for Adults

by Humphry David

Roughly 20% of acne cases being treated in the United States belong to adults. For many adults, what was thought of as a teenage affliction has continued well into their twenties and thirties. For other adults suffering from acne, the outbreaks did not start until they reached their twenties. The causes of adult acne vary and can be any one or a combination of the following conditions.StressUntil recently, stress related acne was a myth. Researchers are now beginning to understand the correlation between stress and acne. For adult acne sufferers, stress is considered to be the leading cause to post-pubescent breakouts. When we are exposed to stressful situations, the brain triggers the central nervous system, which in turn sends signals to the rest of the body as part of a primitive fight or flight response. Part of this response is hormonal release from our adrenal glands and fatty secretions from the sebaceous glands, which lay beneath the skin. Both hormonal imbalance and fatty secretions, which can clog pores, are known contributors to acne outbreaks.Hormonal ImbalancesHormonal imbalances as a cause of adult acne primarily affect women. Imbalances that occur during a woman's menstrual cycle or as a result of pregnancy can lead to acne outbreaks. There are adult males who report that they have monthly acne episodes. While men obviously do not menstruate, it is believed that men may have hormonal cycles similar to women.Coffee Consumption Adults tend to ingest more coffee than do teens. The caffeine in coffee and tea promotes the production of cortisol, which is also known as the stress hormone. As noted, hormone imbalances are known contributors to adult acne.SmokingThe chemicals introduced into the body by cigarette smoking limit blood circulation to skin cells, inhibiting the skin's ability to heal and regenerate. The toxins released in cigarette smoke can clog pores and promote bacterial growth in pores, all of which contributes to adult acne.HeredityRecent research has shown that people are more likely to suffer from adult acne if they have a family history of adult acne sufferers.Environmental Job conditions that expose the skin to high levels of pollutants, irritants, or humidity can lead to an increase in adult acne.Cosmetics* Poorly formulated cosmetics that are heavy or greasy can clog skin pores, trapping bacteria, dirt, and oils resulting in adult acne breakouts. Covering acne with makeup can make the condition worse.

Acne Back - Get Rid - Period!

by John Thorne

If you've got acne back and want to get rid of it, or for that matter, any acne, there is only one way to cure it - period! - and it's NOT what you've been told.
The blunt truth is that, no matter what you have read, what you have bought at the chemist, or what you have been prescribed by a doctor, it hasn't worked, has it?
Let's face a simple fact - if it HAD worked you wouldn't be reading this, would you?
You would have a fine, unblemished, beautiful, natural-looking skin which is what you have always wanted - and deserve, but so far been denied.
What is so totally unfair about it is that you have been misled through, at the best, ignorance on the part of those who have told you to rinse at least twice daily with lukewarm water and certainly before you go to bed, to, at the worst, the voracious greediness of chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers who have a vested interest (in fact it's their ONLY interest!) in keeping you buying their products.
Don't get me wrong. Many of the things you have been doing will help to keep down your acne, but if they don't get to the root cause of the problem, you will never have a complete cure.
It's a bit like, say, Dutch elm disease - a devastating disease of elm trees which has wiped out millions of them. Certainly, you can lop off diseased branches and cut away diseased leaves and, for a while the tree will look healthy again.
Then, sadly, it starts to die away. Because, quite simply, you have failed to eradicate the virus and/or the beetle which caused it in the first place.
It's just the same with acne. The basic root cause is DIETARY and if you don't sort out that problem, then you CANNOT get a permanent cure; you can only temporarily alleviate the symptoms.
So, for a while, you look and feel better and then the problem rears its' ugly head again (sorry for the pun - it wasn't intended).
Now I don't want to be pessimistic - far from it. There IS a way to cure acne permanently, but it isn't what you've been doing. As I said above, if what you've been told and what you've been doing worked, you wouldn't be here.
By all means keep on rinsing your skin, eating fresh fruit and so on. It cannot do you anything but good.
I would suggest that you do NOT go to the doctor for a dose of antibiotics. Again, these may give temporary relief, but I've always had a sneaking suspicion that I'm actually doing something harmful to my body if I take these.
Not only that, but they can build up in the body and cause allergic reactions. I should know. When I was a youngster (50 or more years ago) I was introduced to the new wonder drug - penicillin. I had a sore throat, white pustules down the back of the throat - not very nice - and the first penicillin tablet I took cured it in half an hour! Wow! Was I impressed?
So the next time I suffered the problem, back I went to the good ole doc for some more.
Within an HOUR I got swellings the size of an egg - I kid you not - all over my arms, legs and feet. So bad were they, that for three days I couldn't even get a pair of shoes on, let alone walk anywhere. I'm allergic to penicillin to this day.
By all means read up everything you can on acne, but with an open mind. You need a CURE - not a temporary alleviation of the symptoms. I'm sure you will agree.

Curing Acne with Tea Tree Oil

by Vern Beatty

Introduction.Tea tree oil has proven to be a very powerful anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent. Best known as an alternative acne remedy, this versatile potion has fans among doctors and consumers alike. It has been found to have anti-microbial properties, so it is often applied topically to kill acne-causing bacteria. It is well known for its numerous beneficial effects as a natural, deep cleansing, antiseptic, antiviral and antimicrobial agent, as well as an immuno-stimulant. Therefore, it has the ability of deep cleansing oily or troubled skin and hair types, as it helps to remove harmful bacteria, fighting the effects of grease, pollution, and dirt.
What is Tea Tree Oil?Tea tree oil comes from the Australian paperbark tree, and has been used traditionally as a folk remedy by Australian aborigines. It has powerful anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral qualities. There are close to 300 varieties of Melaleuca alternifolia (the Latin name for the tea tree), but only one produces the medicinal oil. Tea tree oil has been traditionally used for such maladies as athlete's foot, body odor, bad breath, and cold sores. It has been proven effective killing acne bacteria, when topically applied. Historically, the leaves were used as a substitute for tea, which is how tea tree oil got its name. The part used medicinally is the oil from the leaves.
How has it Been Used?Tea tree oil has a 70 year history of safe use, and scientific data to support claims about its properties. Tea tree oil has been used as an antiseptic for burns, cuts and insect bites. It has also been used for acne, eczema and fungal infections of the skin (i.e., athlete's foot). A small number of people are allergic to the oil, and experience skin reactions at low concentrations. It is especially recommended for teenagers, those with greasy skin or acne.
How do you Use it for Acne? Many acne sufferers' skin is very sensitive to tea tree oil. Therefore, it's important to start out with a very mild dose, and experiment with just a small part of your skin. If your skin is aggravated by it, then either choose a lower dose, or try another acne treatment all together. Apply this product to the affected area of skin as directed. Follow all directions on the product package. If you are uncertain about any of the product information, consult your doctor or pharmacist. This product is for external use only. If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.
Precautions and Limitations of Use.Some acne sufferers don't realize that you should not aggressively apply the undiluted oil onto acne lesions. This can irritate skin, causing redness, blistering, over-drying, and itching. Tea tree oil should never be taken internally, even in small quantities. It can cause impaired immune function, diarrhea, and potentially fatal central nervous system depression (excessive drowsiness, sleepiness, confusion, or coma). Seek medical attention if you experience symptoms of overdose: excessive drowsiness, sleepiness, poor coordination, diarrhea, or vomiting. Keep tea tree oil out of the reach of children and pets. If an overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Occasionally, people may have allergic reactions to tea tree oil, ranging from mild contact dermatitis to severe blisters and rashes. Tell your doctor immediately if you experience rash or skin irritation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Tea tree oil is not recommended for use during pregnancy, or during breast-feeding. Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription medications you may use, especially any other medicated skin products.
The Bottom Line.Does tea tree oil cure acne? The answer is yes and no. As an anti-bacterial agent, it can help decrease the symptoms of skin inflamed with acne bacteria. However, many users will be sensitive to it. Like all topical acne treatments, it can't cure acne totally. The only way to do that is internally. Tree tea oil is a proven alternative treatment for acne, and should be considered seriously by any acne sufferer. The potential benefits for curing acne with tea tree oil outweigh the risks.

The Wonders of Green Tea- It can Help With Acne Care

by Humphry David

Green tea is the most consumed beverage in the world, second only to water. The craze for green tea exceeds taste, as this beverage--derived from the white-flowered plant, Camellia Sinensis--is continually proving its health and wellness benefits.A native to Asia, green tea is rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants are known for their ability to help fight diseases and maintaining healthy cell structure. Antioxidant research has shown that antioxidants help prevent cancer, reduce the risk of stroke and heart disease, and can even lower blood cholesterol levels.Researchers are now linking the antioxidants in green tea to acne prevention. It has been long known that placing a warm tea bag on an acne blemish or similar growth will help to draw the toxins out of the lesion, promoting quicker heal times.Current research has shown that green tea extracts fight bacteria, reduce redness and inflammation, and can deter hormone activity. All three of these symptoms are present in acne blemishes.According to the findings reported to the American Academy of Dermatology by dermatologist Dr. Gan-Wong, when compounded into a cream with a content of 3% green tea extract, acne treatment results were comparable to using a topical solution containing 4% benzoyl peroxide, a common treatment for acne.Dr. Gan-Wong's findings were based on an independent study of just over 100 acne suffers. The test subjects were randomly split into two groups, with one group receiving the green tea treatment and the other receiving a benzoyl peroxide treatment. Neither group was aware of the treatment they received, nor were the dermatologist who documented their progress. After a twelve week period, significant improvements in the reduction of acne and redness were noted in the patients using the green tea extract. The results were comparable to the results of the benzoyl peroxide users.Additionally, dermatologist noted improvements in skin tone on the test subjects who were using green tea extract cream, and green tea users reported fewer cases of dry skin and allergic responses. Thus, green tea extract cream had proven to offer the same benefits in the treatment of acne as benzoyl peroxide, with fewer side effects.Benzoyl peroxide is a crystalline powder that is used in tire and plastic production as well as cosmetics. Benzoyl peroxide can irritate eyes, skin, and respiratory tracts, and is on OSHA's hazardous substance list as a precaution against prolonged exposure. What makes using green tea extract appealing as an acne treatment is that green tea is all natural.Furthermore, it gives the holistic community a welcomed study on something that has been recommended by holistic healing practioneers for years. It is quite probable that green tea has MANY medicinal properties yet to be verified by western science. This seems very likely, considering the vast amount of anecdotal evidence regarding the healing properties of green tea.So, on a holistic level, there is now one more scientifically backed treatment for acne available to those who want to avoid the harmful side effects of the various chemical acne treatments. With this in mind, those who want to treat their acne, but hate the redness and irritation caused by using benzoyl peroxide and other chemicals on the skin, there is now a scientifically proven, all natural treatment. Green Tea!

Colon Cleaning May Help Acne Sufferers

by Alexander Holle

Many doctors and alternative medicine practitioners believe that one essential component of achieving overall bodily health is having a colon that is clean and free of the toxins that can build up over time. Many of these same doctors and alternative medicine practitioners believe that one of the benefits of colon cleansing is the improvement of acne conditions. One process of colon cleansing is called colon hydrotherapy. This cleansing process involves the gentle bathing of the large intestine, or colon. The purified warm water that is used during colon hydrotherapy helps to remove the poisons, toxic materials, and build-up of waste from the body.Unlike an enema, which only cleans the first two feet of the large intestine with only a relatively small amount of water, a colon hydrotherapy treatment cleans the colon with between fifteen and twenty-five gallons of water. This water cleans the entire colon and reaches difficult areas and areas where fecal matter tends to gather and build up.Colon hydrotherapists often recommend that hydrotherapy treatments be received in conjunction with appropriate herbal remedies.Effective colon hydrotherapy treatments remove not only fecal material, but also excess mucus, bacteria, and parasites. Therapy treatments help to restore the colon to its original shape, which can get distorted over years of accommodating the build up of waste. The restoration of the colon to its original shape helps it to move out waste materials more effectively. Hydrotherapy treatments can also help the body to have regular bowel movements without the disturbance of constipation and diarrhea. Those who practice colon hydrotherapy truly believe that this practice rejuvenates the body as a whole. The removal of toxins and poisons helps the body to alleviate many health problems like fatigue, frequent headaches or stomachaches, weight problems, allergies, and various skin conditions such as psoriasis and acne.Colon hydrotherapy treatments also help the colon to be able to do its job better in the future, excreting wastes more efficiently and keeping polluting toxins out of the body. A colon that is working more efficiently is one that is helping to maintain overall body and skin health. We don't often think about it, but the skin is actually the body's largest excretory organ. When the colon is clogged with fecal matter, bacteria, and other toxins and waste material, the skin begins to act as an excretory substitute.Because problematic skin is so often an indication of unhealthy colon in need of cleansing, antibiotics, skin medications, and topical creams may not work well to correct the problem.Vitamin A is of vital importance to overall skin health, and to maintaining skin that is free of acne and other conditions. Dietary Vitamin A enters the body largely through absorption through the walls of the large intestine, or colon. The colon, in a state of ill health, has a difficult time absorbing adequate amounts of Vitamin A. A healthy colon that has received cleansing hydrotherapy will more effectively absorb Vitamin A, helping the skin to maintain clarity and good health. Many people who suffer from various skin problems, such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema, find that their skin conditions improve after colon hydrotherapy treatments.

Having A Sweet Tooth May Not Help Your Acne

by Alexander Holle

Many dermatologists and acne sufferers believe that excessive sugar consumption aggravates acne conditions. Many other dermatologists, however, do not believe that there is enough evidence to link sugar consumption and acne. Many people who suffer from acne can detect a pattern having to do with their diet and their acne breakouts. These people have noticed over time that particular foods will instigate the appearance of pimples and blemishes. For many people, chocolate and other sugary snacks are obvious irritants to a pre-existing acne condition.Other acne sufferers, however, do not detect any relationship between sugary foods and their acne condition. And of course there are all those people who seem to be able to eat all the sugar they want without having to worry about ever developing a pimple or a blemish. The truth is that sugar reacts differently in different bodies. While the consumption of sugar has no ill effects on one person, it can cause all sorts of trouble for another person. The way sugar reacts within a person's body has to do with that person's hormonal make up.When a person consumes sugary foods, the person's blood sugar rises sharply and rapidly. This spike in blood sugar is directly related to how much sugar is ingested. In response to this spike in the level of blood sugar, the body excretes hormones such as insulin and other hormones. The sugar is then allowed to enter the cells of the liver and the cells that comprise muscular tissue. Any sugar that is left over when this process is complete is stored as fat.The consumption of sugar triggers a process in which hormones must surge and fat is created quickly. The body then contains an excess of androgenic hormones. It is the job of the liver to rid the body of excess hormones - but the liver's capacity to do this changes from liver to liver. Some people have very strong livers that can process and deactivate large amounts of excess hormones, while other people have livers that become easily overwhelmed. When the liver is unable to process and deactivate excess hormones, these hormones cause the sebum glands to produce too much oil in the skin. This skin oil, combined with the fat in the blood, can cause aggravation of acne.It is difficult for some people to envision a diet that does not include sugar. But if you believe that your acne condition is worsened when you ingest large amounts of sugar, then it may be time to start taking measures to correct this problem. If you do not believe that your acne condition is aggravated by sugar consumption, you may be right. But it may not hurt to experiment with some changes in diet to see if there might be foods that are particular irritants to your acne. If you can detect which foods make your acne worse through trial and error experimentation, then you can avoid those foods in the future. If you choose to experiment with a diet that is low in sugar, you should avoid candy, chocolate, and any other foods that contain processed sugars. You should also avoid fruit juices except those that are low in sugar. High sugar fruits should be eaten sparingly. Natural sugars such as honey, maple syrup, and molasses, can be used in small quantities.

Easy Tips For Treating Acne

by Sarah Rhodes

Some prescription drugs, particularly antibiotics, may disrupt the bacteria normally present in the intestine and vagina, causing the unpleasant symptoms of constipation, diarrhea, or vaginitis. Because Lactobacillus acidophilus is one such regular inhabitant that can prevent bacterial or yeast overgrowth, consumption of yogurt or L. bacillus capsules or tablets has been found to be effective in decreasing the incidence of candidiasis.
The yeast infection drugs on the market today may relieve you of the common itching and burning associated with yeast infections but they may leave your body carrying dormant yeast cells even after the treatment is finished. Unless the roots problem of the yeast infection is cured you could experience flair ups down the road once the dormant yeast cells have the right environment to become active again.
Twenty symptoms of Candidiasis are: 1. Headaches 2. Cystitis (infected bladder) 3. Mood swings 4. Vaginitis (inflammation of vagina or thrush) 5. Fungal infections (e.g. athletes foot) 6. Bad breath 7. Extensive food allergies 8. Anal itching 9. Feeling ill after eating yeast or sugary foods 10. Nasal itch or congestion 11. Craving for sugary things 12. Abdominal distension or bloating 13. Diarrhoea, constipation or both 14. Depression 15. Fatigue 16. Poor memory 17. Lack of sexual desire 18. Craving for bread or alcohol 19. Menstrual cramp or pain 20. Muscle aches.
Most doctors say that we should drink at least eight 8-oz. glasses of water daily, but many people need even more than that. I have found that simply drinking enough water greatly reduces my likelihood for getting a yeast infection. Because I am drinking more water, and subsequently urinating more frequently, my body is able to flush out the sugars that feed the yeast.
The common culprit here is Candida albicans. Yeast is present in everyone and lives in harmony along with many other microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract. However, when there's candida overgrowth, it may cause problems such as oral thrush (white coating under the tongue), bloating, indigestion, lethargy, rectal itching, yeast infection of the skin and frequent bladder infections.
When Candida albicans thrives on the tongue, it could just be an annoying local overgrowth. The official name for this is oral "thrush." But bear in mind that a very furry tongue might indicate that Candida is also present in large numbers in the digestive tract, hidden from view, and could have spread beyond the borders of the intestines.
So how do you know if you are suffering from thrush? One of the telltale sign is having white creamy patches in the mouth. Red spots on the roof of the mouth, throat, gums and on the tongue are also clear indications of Thrush. A person suffering from Thrush may also see crusts forming on the corners of his or her mouth. Difficulties in swallowing, nausea and chest pains are some of the other signs of having Thrush.

Acne, What Is The Real Cause?

by Dale Mazurek

You can use all the medications you want but chances are that as soon as you get off the medication the acne will return. Most of the medications just mask the symptoms of acne and really doesn't do a thing to stop it. In this article I intend to help you understand a little more about what acne is. At the end of the day the most important part is what the real cause of acne is and how to stop it.
Your kidneys and bowels are two of the major organs that help to remove and expel any wastes from the body. As a result if these organs can't remove the toxins fast enough that's when the acne breaks out begins. Fat digestion is usually the biggest problem. Usually the liver can't wash out the stored chemicals from the fat in your body. Another problem could be the accumulation of hormones in your body.
The livers main role in the body is to metabolize stored fat in your body into usable energy for your body. However if the toxins in your body build up faster than the kidneys and bowels can process them, then the kidneys and bowels get plugged up and then they don't function properly. When they don't work properly they then dump the toxins into the liver.
So now because the kidneys are overloaded the liver ends up being overworked. Because of this the liver doesn't work properly. So now what happens to the kidneys and bowels when they have to do more than they are supposed to? What happens is that acne occurs. Toxins seep through the lungs and skin which are secondary levels of expulsion. This is when the acne starts to break out.
You may think acne is your only problem but that's just the beginning of your problems. Every time you have a break out then it affects your lungs, liver and kidneys. Every time you have a break out it weakens those vital organs in your body. So what's important to realize is that it's very important to get help with your acne because of the negative effects it can have on your body.

Acne Treatments Review

by Stan Morse

Effective
One of the effective homemade acne facial treatments is cleansing the facial skin regularly using cotton dipped in alcohol. A Kampo treatment for acne, the treatment called: Keigai-rengyo-to (TJ-50), has proven effective in some cases.
Using orange peel has known to be very effective on acne. Cleaning the skin with lemon is an effective acne treatment. Many adults have found that simply using benzoyl peroxide is an effective adult acne cure.
Benzoyl peroxide - Effective in controlling excess oil and has an antibiotic that fights the bacteria that causes acne. And one can only say that how effective it will be for you will largely depend on the type of acne you have.
Topical Retinoids- retinoids are Vitamin A derivatives and are very effective in treatment of mild to moderate acne. This is terrific news for acne sufferers in search of an effective home treatment for acne.
A deeper and much more effective acne treatment is a TCA peel. From what I can gather, it is getting more effective and efficient as technology allows. Laser therapy is often effective for dealing with acne scarring.
Products
A woman that is pregnant will have to look at alternative safe skin programs, and natural skin products would be a place to start. There are several products that can be the best acne treatments depending on your situation. Not all acne products will be the best acne treatments for you.
Products containing unevaluated substances are best avoided. The EWG has reviewed scientific studies and performed their own independent laboratory tests to expose health threats from skin care products sold in the United States. Different treatments, medicines, and products have been produced to help control and eliminate this skin disorder.
There are also many different products that use these treatments in one way or another. While the medical community does not have a cure for severe acne, there are a variety of products that will subdue moderate cases of acne and provide the sufferer with clear skin once again. There are a variety of products that are designed to get rid of or reduce acne.
Dairy products such as milk and cheese can contribute to the formation of acne. If you're still breaking-out after you made the necessary internal changes, then your condition is far more serious, and you must take the next step by taking part in a complete skin treatment process with proper acne products that work jointly together.
Natural
Herbal solutions help by cutting down on toxicity levels in the body as well as work as a natural anti-inflammatory for skin lesions. What's so unique about this form of acne treatment is that it is made of all natural ingredients. You can recreate your very own effective acne treatments by putting these together in your own natural facial cleaner, making a product that can effectively treat your acne in a natural and gentle way.
Try all avenues, from topical solutions to oral medications to the best natural acne treatments around, because you will eventually find the treatment that works best for you. Whatever you call it, natural treatment is one of the most resorted forms of therapeutic means for many debilitating diseases.
If you are really serious about treating acne and really eliminating it at it's source (ie the hormones that cause acne), then you owe it to yourself to try a natural acne hormone treatment which is specifically designed to equalize hormone imbalance and purify the skin from the inside out using special blends of herbs, botanicals, and/or natural compounds such as Vitamin E and Alpha Lipoic Acid.
Alternative
Most of the alternative acne treatment mainly tries to eliminate the bacteria responsible for acne. Another popular alternative acne treatment is the application of the paste made of strawberry leaves. A simple search on Google for acne alternative treatments brings up almost 1,500,000 sites to choose from.
If you or someone you know suffers from acne then you know how many so called acne alternative treatments there are floating around that claim to cure your problematic acne, zits and skin blemishes. There is great debate over whether or not these alternative treatments for acne work and if they are safe. This is precisely why herbal acne treatments are coming on strong and don't show any signs of slowing down in the world of acne treatment and alternative medicine.
Herbal acne treatments are now some of the most sought after alternative acne remedies on the market today. Generally alternative treatments are not regulated by the FDA and hence you will not receive much guidance from medical doctors on their use. Every day numerous acne suffers turn to alternative methods to treat their acne.
If you already have all your acne information from the doctor, and decide to use alternative products, rather than go with prescription antibiotics due to allergies, or you just don't want to go that route, then your next step is to find a skin treatment program that starts from the inside out, and outside in method.

Acne Medication

by Groshan Fabiola

Acne affects over one-third of the global population, during some point of their lives. Although people are more prone to acne during their teenage and subsequent growth years, adult acne is also commonly found in people up to their 40's. Acne is a condition where the oil secreting glands and the hair follicles in the skin get clogged. This results in bacteria to grow in the pores of the skin. The result is that one gets whiteheads, blackheads or pimples. One need not worry unnecessarily though since acne can be treated with proper acne medication.
A wide variety of prescription acne medication is available today. Acne medications in the form of topical medications which can be applied to the skin are perhaps the most extensively used. Yet another form of medication works internally and is used for treating severe acne. Whatever the acne medication, they work on the same principle of attacking the different factors that actually lead to acne. In some cases dermatologists may combine more than one acne medication as part of treatment.
Since the problem of acne is widespread, there are lots of over the counter acne medication that is available in the market. The most commonly available over the counter acne medicines have benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. One must have surely heard of brands like 'Clean & Clear Persa-Gel', 'Oxy -10' or 'Clearasil'. Most of the leading brands use either of these as their ingredients. Any acne medication with benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid is useful for people with mild acne. They are known to open up clogged pores and have some antibacterial effect. Whatever the different over the counter acne medicines may claim, it does take several weeks to see a marked improvement in the condition.Yet another widely available acne medication is in the form of oral antibiotics. Like topical antimicrobials, these oral antibiotics work to reduce the contributing factor in acne. This in turn decreases inflammation. The entire acne medication process with oral antibiotics begins with a high dosage which is gradually reduced as the acne resolves. Generally speaking this form of acne medication is prescribed for a time period of six months or less.
Topical retinoids are also prescribed as acne medication for mild to moderately severe acne. Topical retinoids are actually a derivative of vitamin A. These retinoids work to unclog pores and also prevent blackheads and white heads from forming. In some cases, retinoids can lead to an increase in sun sensitivity or irritation of the skin. It is therefore important that you consult your dermatologist before you use them.
For slightly severe acne there are over the counter acne medicines available with sulfur and /or resorcinol. These products are known to be effective and come with a noticeable odor and color. The best way to arrive at the right acne medication is probably through the age old 'trial and error method'. You can also find out from your friends or other family members about the various over the counter acne products available in the market. Your dermatologist or even beautician is perhaps the person who is best placed to offer you good advice on the best acne medication suited to you.

Benzaclin: Rescuer from Teenage Acne

by Adam Frazer

Teenage brings in various changes including skin care issues like acne. In fact, acne can be used as a synonym for teenage. Acne amongst teens is primarily caused due to hormonal changes, during puberty phase. During the phase of puberty, a sex hormone, testosterone, found in both men and women, tends to increase in number and produce more sebum (oil) in the body. This sebum (oil) along with deed skin cells blocks the pores, which is consequential in acne. This skin condition is characterized by appearance of zits, breakouts or pimples.
Acne can appear in any part of the body including neck, chest, face, shoulder, back, and even upper arms. Benzaclin acne care medication is one of the skin care medication available in the market, which has gained popularity due to its efficacy.

It is useful in lessening the irritation of acne. Benzoyl peroxide is even effectual at drying the oil normally situated in acne vulgaris patients. Are You Getting The Best Acne Treatment From Your Doctor?

by Sarah Rhodes

There are many forms of acne, which would explain why it is so difficult to treat. I have listed several causes of acne and many of those may surprise you, but I also hope that they will help you discover what causes your acne. For instance, a great many people would likely be surprised to learn that acne is not caused by stress, as they may think, but more likely can be attributed to their fancy new perfume or cologne.
There are two dermatologist tested ways to facilitate the healing of acne, one is the use of Tretinoin, it's a form of vitamin A, which speeds up the skin's healing and renovation process shortening the inflammation period, thus preventing acne scars. The other treatment used by most dermatologists for acne scar prevention is the use of Aplpha-Hydroxy Acids of AHA's and Beta-Hydroxy Acids or BHA's. These help the skins remodeling process, with the right concentration and proper application; these can also prevent acne scars.
Acne skin care products performance can greatly depend on how an individual's skin type reacts to it. It must conform to the skin's characteristics, which may include skin sensitivity, tone, ethnicity and gender. There are many acne skin care products in the market with different active ingredients and solutions for different skin types. Acne prone skin can be very sensitive to different chemicals and must be very careful in using different products. There are different tips and techniques for mild to severe cases of acnes. Some acne skin care products may not work for some people in helping them improve the look and condition of their skin.
There are quite a large variety of acne home remedy treatment techniques you can try. Some people claim to have success with orange paste applied on the irritated areas. The citric acid in the paste may work on reducing the size and irritation of the acne condition. Other things that can help with acne are cucumbers and garlic, which also have some curative properties. Acne home remedy treatments can also include a good and healthy diet. Fresh fruit and plenty of water should be consumed daily in order to get rid of pimples. Hygiene of the affected areas is also vital as a clean and healthy skin will have less irritation and, consequently, fewer pimples.
Salicyclic Acid is very effective in the treatment of blackheads. It can loosen and soften thick, clogged pores. However, it does little to prevent the development of new blemishes.
Over the years studies have suggested everything from chocolate, candy, fried foods, sugar, drinking water, orange juice to milk can cause you to develop acne or make existing acne worse. However there is no scientific evidence to support any such results. There are so many factors effecting acne development that it is very difficult to isolate any one cause. So whether or not to avoid certain foods or drinks is really just an individual preference. If you find your skin reacts negatively to certain foods, then just don't eat or drink it.

Acne Scar Treatment Tips

by Juliet Cohen

Acne is most common skin conditions . It is also called common acne. Acne afflicting 40 to 50 million Americans. Nearly 80 percent of people aged 11 to 30 years have acne, most often on the face, chest and back. However, acne is not restricted to any age group; adults in their 20s, 30s and even into their 40s can get acne. "Old-looking" skin can sometimes have less to do with aging than with a defect that makes the skin look prematurely old. One such skin problem--and a fairly common one--is acne scars. Healed acne does leave scars in some people, however, and it is not easy to predict who will have scars after acne and who will not. Most cases of acne responds to treatment and clears up without leaving scars.Severe, inflamed, cystic acne always leaves scars after healing, but in some people even superficially inflamed acne can result in scarring. it can leave a red or hyperpigmented mark on the Skin.White blood cells and inflammatory molecules may remain at the site of an active acne lesion for days or even weeks. In people who are susceptible to scarring, the result may be an acne scar
Acne scars starts with causes of scarring, prevention of scarring, types of scars, and treatments for scars. Scars may also contribute to an appearance of age as the skin loses its elasticity over the years.Acne scars two types of tissue response to the inflammation of acne: (1) increased tissue formation, and (2) loss of tissue. Most serious scarring is caused by the more severe forms of acne, with nodules more likely to leave permanent scars than other types of acne. There are some topical skin care products and medications that can improve mild scarring, but most acne scars are treated with a combination of surgical procedures and skin resurfacing. The redness or hyperpigmentation is seen as the skin goes through its healing and remodeling process, which takes approximately 6-12 months. If no more acne lesions develop in that area, the skin can heal normally. Any color change or skin defect still present after 1 year is considered to be a permanent defect or scar.
Treatment Tips of Acne Scar
1.Dermatologic surgery should be the one that is best for you in terms of your type of skin.
2.Fractional laser therapy. This type of treatment works at a deeper level than laser resurfacing or dermabrasion

4.Filler substances are best used for shallow, saucer-shaped acne scars.
5.Ice pick acne scars have hard, irregular jagged borders and often the depth is irregular as well.

4.Apply sunscreen lotion on the spots and then after an hour rub lemon juice on it. Lemon is very effective in lightening the spots.
5.Apply tea tree oil on the scars. It will help to unclog the pores and heal the scars.
6.Aloe Vera Juice or Gel is helpful in the fading of the scars and in their healing. Different brands of this gel are available in the market and the effect of each one is different.
7.Lavender oil can also be applied on the acne scars as this oil is very gentle and contains regenerative characteristics.

Cure Acne Easily Now!

by David Rambai

Acne is often said to be impossible to cure, yet this is really a myth. It is curable and can be done safely, quickly and easily from your home starting today. In this article I will describe the 3 simple steps I used to cure my own acne, which I had for 11 years! Read on...
The only way to cure acne is naturally by changing the diet and dealing with any other internal problems that you might be suffering from. The first step I used was avoiding vegetable oil. This is because vegetable oil produces what are called pro-inflammatory hormones and cause acne on a hormonal level.
Vegetable oils are mostly used as a cooking oil, such as sunflower oil. Yet they are also found in other food products like sauces. IF you want to cure your acne you need to weed out all the vegetable oil from your diet. Many alternatives of the same food (sauces etc) exist without vegetable oil in it, and you should opt for those. They are a couple of other foods that are bad for acne, but concentrate on vegetable oil to start with.
Having stopped eating vegetable oil and noticing a major positive effect on your skin, it's time for the next step. This involves increasing your intake of vital nutrients like vitamins, minerals and enzymes. These nutrients are incredibly powerful against acne and getting a lot of them is an important step in clearing your skin. To do this simply eat more wholefoods and vegetables, and take quality supplements.
So you have started to avoid vegetable oil and increased your intake of vital nutrients, and will be seeing an amazing effect on your acne, but you still get the occasional zit...
...Then you need the last simple acne clearing step. This involves getting rid of what is called candida. Candida causes acne and should be eliminated asap. To check if you have candida then simply check your tongue for a white coating. This is a dead give away that you have candida! The basics to eliminating candida are to cut out sugar from your diet, increase vegetable intake and take a probiotic. But there are more advanced ways of killing candida if you need them...
So once you have done these three acne killing steps you can get on with your life acne free.

Cure Acne Right Now Naturally!

by David Rambai

In this brief article I am going to show you how you can cure your acne in 3 simple steps that are totally natural, work quickly and are proven to work. I suffered from acne for 11 years and these are the steps I used to cure my acne...
The most effective way to cure your acne problem is to avoid certain acne causing foods. It has been proven time and time again by acne prone individuals that there is a direct relationship between the food you eat, and the acne you get!
The worst acne causing food is undoubtedly vegetable oil. This is because it causes inflammation on a hormonal level and this results in acne break outs. Simply put, IF you want clear skin then you must avoid vegetable oil! And it is simple to do this. The main vegetable oil used by most is their cooking oils. Why don't you check the cooking oil in your kitchen? If it is a vegetable oil like sunflower oil then toss it out because it is the main culprit when it comes to your acne!
Other sources of vegetable oil are found in foods like sauces, so check them too. There are many alternatives to foods with vegetable oils in it so don't think you are going to be deprived from the foods you love, as that simply is not the case.
The second step is very simple but amazingly effective. All you have to do is increase the amount of nutrients you get into your body on a daily basis. Do this by eating wholefoods and vegetables and by taking quality supplements. Vitamins, minerals and enzymes are fantastic for clearing skin, so you want to make sure you get plenty of them.
The last step to curing your acne is to check for, and kill candida. Candida is a hidden cause of acne and should be eliminated asap. A simple test to see if you have candida is to check if you have a white coating on your tongue. A white coating on the tongue is a dead giveaway. The basic way to eliminate candida is to avoid sugar, eat plenty of vegetables and take probiotics. This should be enough to beat candida, but more advanced ways exist so don't worry if those basics don't completely kill it.
These 3 steps are truly the best all natural ways to curing your acne available. They are based on sound nutritional knowledge and will not only cure your acne, but will improve your overall health as well.

Acne Cure In 3 Simple Steps

by David Rambai

Many people who have acne have tried dozens of different ways to cure it. After failing each time they perhaps become skeptical that acne is curable. Well, in this article I will show you that acne is in fact curable, as I myself managed to cure my own acne, and have helped many others do the same.
All it takes is to follow 3 simple steps, or rules if you may, and your acne will disappear. By the way, you won't find any recommendations from me for 'miracle' acne cleansers or pills. Because in reality, I don't think miracle acne cures actually exist. What does exist is a natural way for you to take control of the factors that cause acne in the first place. And by doing so you will see fast and effective results that are 100% safe.
So onto the 3 secret acne killing steps:
1. Avoid vegetable oil, as it causes hormonal inflammation resulting in acne. Stop using vegetable cooking oils like sunflower oil, and replace sauces with vegetable oils in them with non-vegetable oil alternatives!
2. Get lots of vital acne clearing nutrients into the body. These include vitamins, minerals and enzymes. This is easily done by eating plenty of wholefoods and vegetables, and by taking quality supplements.
3. Kill off any fungi or yeast infections you may have that are causing you to break out.
Once you do these three easy steps you will see your acne disappear in a few short days. These are some of the simple, yet secret ways you can use to clear your acne up asap. Try them and see for yourself!

Cure Your Acne Using A Simple and Natural Approach

by David Rambai

In this brief article you will find out how to cure your acne simply and naturally. I suffered from acne for 11 years and until I used these 3 steps nothing had worked for me...
Do not expect any recommendations for expensive cleansers or 'miracle' acne pills, as from experience I have found that these do not work to cure acne. Neither will I be recommending fasting on apples for 3 days, as although this can help reduce acne for a few days, it is not a long term solution...
These 3 simple steps require very little effort, yet produce fantastic results in clearing acne.
Step 1 requires that you avoid eating the worst acne causing food in world - vegetable oil. Vegetable oil causes hormonal inflammation that results in acne. IF you want clear skin you really need to check all the foods you eat for any vegetable oils and eliminate those from your diet.
Step 2 is to simply get lots of quality nutrients into your body. This is because modern food commonly lacks the amounts of nutrients our bodies need to operate effectively. Nutrient deficiencies, especially vitamins, minerals and enzymes actually cause acne. Getting lots of vital nutrients is easy to do by eating wholefoods and vegetables daily, and taking quality supplements.
Step 3 is to check if you have an acne causing infection called candida. Candida is an overgrowth of yeast that disrupts the digestive system and results in acne, (as well as many other symptoms of ill health.) Eliminate candida and you kill off the last major cause of your acne.
By doing these 3 simple and natural acne curing steps you will see for yourself the easy way to cure your acne.

Acne is not just a Teenage Problem

by Shersta

Twenty-five percent of all adult men and fifty percent of all adult women suffer from some form of acne. These are the facts but how many adults have never had at least one acne flare up in their adult life? Adults can develop acne well into adulthood- twenties, thirties and forties and beyond that even. No acne is pleasant but somehow adult acne seems worse as acne is typically thought of as an adolescence problem. In reality adult acne, or any acne for that matter, is very hard to deal with and can lead to depression, a negative self-image and social anxiety may occur as well. The causes of adult acne are different for all people and the treatments vary as mush as the causes do. Most adult acne can be treated and managed effectively.
The causes of adult acne are unknown; some people think that adult acne has hormonal roots. The appropriate adult pimple treatment may involve balancing your hormones, which typically requires a trip to your healthcare provider or dermatologist for some testing to conclude that hormones are indeed the problem. The development of a pimple is very detailed and very intricate. While it is known that pores that are clogged can block oil from escaping, it is not known why it happens in one pore and not another. It is also not known why this does not happen in all of the pores. The many causes of adult acne and teen acne include hormone imbalance, diet, genetics, vitamin deficiency, stress, and more. The real explanation may be a complex mix of many of these factors. Since it is not know what causes pimples, it is important to focus on the proper treatment of acne.
Acne is often considered a hormonal disease or condition, meaning hormones are responsible for the maturing of the oil producing glands in our skin. Did you ever wonder why you never see acne on a young child? Young children do not have the hormones needed to mature the skin's oils. Once a person becomes and adult there are many things that can throw our hormones out of balance and in turn wreak havoc on our skin, among other things. Some things that cause such imbalances are puberty, pregnancy, menopause and many other things that cause hormones to flare up. Acne may be precipitated by androgens, the male hormones found in men and women. Oil surpluses made by these hormones are the biggest cause of clogged pores and hair follicles, which results in bacteria growth and acne pimples and blemishes. Acne that is caused by hormones is typically more prevalent in women during natural cycles like menstruation, pregnancy and menopause.
Treatment for adult acne is very effective and there are many forms of treatment available. The best treatment happens to be the same treatment recommended most for teenage acne. Benzoyl peroxide kills acne much better than any other acne medication out there on the market today, including all prescription medications. For this product to be effective an acne sufferer must use enough of the product and use it according to the given instructions. If used correctly and in a large enough amount the acne will start to clear up. This method of treatment is also very simple and is not evasive in any way. Benzoyl peroxide does not have a negative effect on the skin first unlike other prescription acne treatments, meaning you will not see a worsening of the skin before you see the improvement. Skin does not build up a tolerance to this treatment so it will be effective for long-term use. If it works on acne the first time, it will always work.
There may be a genetic component involved meaning acne can run in families. Up to fifty percent of women whose acne continues beyond their teens show evidence of increased androgen levels, with raised testosterone and/or lowered sex hormone binding globulin, a protein found in the blood. Correction of these abnormal hormonal imbalances often improves symptoms, so you need to see to it that your doctor is prepared to measure these hormone levels and help you seek a treatment. Several different treatments are available over the counter to help mild to moderate symptoms and your pharmacist can advise on which product would suit you best.
It is important to realize that adult acne is more common than most think and adult sufferers are not alone, there is a large population of adult acne sufferers. If you are troubled by adult onset acne, first consult your doctor. He or she may have a hormonal adult acne treatment that can help. If you have adult acne and it is severe or causes you pain do not hesitate to talk to your healthcare provider and discuss possible medical treatment of your acne.

Why did I live with acne how I didn't need to

by dennis

Pimples , Pimples and I will say it one more time Pimples ,
I had them all threw school starting from 6th grade. Pretty bad huh? Is there a simple way out to helping and curing acne hmm, over night NO! but I have tried a 3 day course you can find here Click Here! That has seemed to help me ,
Why do we continue to live with acne do we need to do we have to? Acne is one of the biggest problems children have going threw school whether there being picked on and made fun of or whether there worrying about a big fat zit coming out the day of prom. I know it was for me at least. I just lived with it and thought that there was no way to get rid of acne, that it would just take its course like my mom always would tell me. So instead of trying to cure my acne I let it continue and keep happening to me cover it up when they were really bad with my sisters make up before she would find out. No that I was entering adulthood I knew it was going to be up to me to stand up and just take charge of my life and my skin and I knew that I didn't want to live with the sore red face I have for so long after product and product I thought it was endless and hopeless but still on the search I found great remedies that work for me and learned they worked for other people as well.
Just the most common acne blemish is the Cystic, Cystic acne can leave more than the standard set of psychological and emotional troubles in its wake. The possibility of scarring because of improperly treating your acne may present you with more problems than mere skin blemishes, is something that needs to be considered. Physical scarring can occur from improperly treating your acne. For example, if you decide to pop a pimple yourself, using your bare hands, you could cause significant scarring. The treatment and physical removal of cystic acne requires sterilized equipment and should really be done by a professional
So I began my research on sort of a quest to find the products that were going to help me with my acne problems and found solutions that work not only for me but for you , for any one who implements them rite for a solution to your acne problems Click Here!
So lets not acne take over our life's and keep us inside or away from our friends and family , lets not let it ruin our lives and do something about it. Acne can be treated
don't let acne control your life take charge and get more information and how to stop acne and get clear skin today Click Here!

I'm Older, Why The Acne And Wrinkles?

by Dale Mazurek

Now that you're in your 40s and acne should be a thing of the past. Puberty was tough with all the break outs. Your 20s weren't as bad but there's no way you should still have it in your 40s. To top it off you now have wrinkles as well. Acne in your 40s is uncommon enough that even the insurance companies usually stop paying for acne medication after about 25 years of age.
You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. You're at the age of wrinkles but you still have acne. The creams that you use for smoothing your wrinkles contain oils that affect your acne. If you use the acne cleansers they dry out your skin and make the wrinkles worse. So what are you going to do?
1. Understand the acne. What you want to do first is take care of the acne. Acne is a disease that messes with your thoughts. Because of this it's a disease that needs immediate attention. At your age it's a good guess that you may need to relax, check your eating habits or take a look at your dating actions. You can figure out why you're getting your acne as soon as you figure out when you get it. You have to understand what brought the acne on and try and remove the problem from your life.2. Are your bathroom habits normal? Waste exiting through the skin usually causes infection which in turn becomes acne. This will happen if your intestines are blocked in any way. If the area is blocked then the wastes in your body can't be disposed of properly and they have to leave your body one way or another.3. Are you tense? Tension in your life will reduce the vigour of the immune system. Make sure you take some breaths throughout the day so you can calm down and relieve stress.4. Are you eating properly? Many cases of acne have been resolved when people learn to eat properly. You need to include leafy green vegetables, fruits and olive oils into your diet.5. Take care of your problems. If you don't take care of issues that may be putting stress on your body then that can definitely affect your acne. So it is wise to get rid of the tensions in your body.6. Learn to exercise. Exercising helps to relieve stress. It also prepares you for challenges and it keeps the body healthier.
So now you're wondering about the wrinkles. First of all eating the same foods that were suggested is also suggested for wrinkles. Something else you should do is steam your face every day. The steam removes waxy and oily build ups. In turn this stimulates circulation. In the morning you can use exfoliates to moisturize your skin.
Just because you are forty doesn't mean you can't have good skin. All you need to do is remember the basics in this article. You need to be able to read where the acne is coming from and you need to eliminate those causes.

A acne solution

by dennis white

Get your life back
Have you been looking for the best acne solution and you have acne , pimples
If you suffer from acne, you know very well that acne is not a static condition. It's dynamic and can change on a daily, monthly, yearly basis. One moment you've got it, the next there's hardly a trace of it. This fluctuating degree of severity creates a challenge in treating acne. But, the biggest thing to keep in mind when trying to control your acne, whether you're a teenager in the midst of a bad bought of cystic acne or an adult with persistent surface blemishes, is to be consistent. Consistency of your treatment is one of the major keys to finally getting rid of your acne. What does it mean to be consistent when treating acne? The majority of people with acne tend to chase it. When the acne is present, they treat it, and when they don't see it, they stop treating it. This ends up perpetuating the "acne roller coaster," so to speak. The acne goes away when the skin is treated, but comes back when the skin is neglected. There are a few differences in treating adult acne and teenage acne. First, here are some tips on how to treat teenage acne:When dealing with teen acne, keep in mind teenage skin is less sensitive to treatments than an adult's, and typically less likely to get reactions like swelling and irritation. This widens the scope of the products you might choose from.- Since teenager's skin is more tolerant than an adult's, you may want to pick treatments that are more potent, like benzoyl peroxide.- Don't switch from one treatment to another if the results don't show up immediately, as the process can take time.- If the problem persists after an extended period of using the medication, you might feel the need to consult with a medical professional.- It is usually not an advisable course of action to physically tamper with the acne yourself. In other words, don't pop your zit! - Because of the fluctuating severity of teen acne, consider using an combination acne treatment that gives you flexibility, letting you decide your own medication strengthAlso a daily exercise routine will work wonders because when you sweat it releases excess toxins and helped me toward my acne solution in a big way clearing my pores and allowing them to breath and like said before get on a daily routine every day to put in at least 30-45 min a day of exercise , Would also be a good idea to stay away from a high saturated fats diet to aswell I have suffered with acne for a very very very long time 10+ years and it wasn't till I was a adult when I began to do some research on a acne solution it sort of became my destiny to figure out what I could do to get ride of it and keep it off, I wanted my life back and the right acne solution is what is was going to take, Well after one year of searching and looking and trial and error I have found out 2 acne methods or system or products or whatever you call them but I just simply call it a acne solution seem to just be a whole lot easier the first one I will list is a 3 day acne solution that really worked well for me
